Organized in 1923, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club is one of the oldest clubs in the United States. As one of over 480 member clubs of U.S. Figure Skating, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club seeks to encourage participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons.

Congratulations to Elena Valova – Pittsburgh FSC Coach and World Figure Skating Hall of Fame Class of 2018! She competed with Oleg Vasiliev for the Soviet Union at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics in Pairs and won the Silver Medal.

CLUB REMINDER:
Reminder – 6 hours of volunteer time per skater needs to be completed for the new skating year (2018-19). Many opportunities are available: club ice monitor Sunday afternoons beginning in September; test sessions; at the club’s Learn-to-Skate program at Schenley Park Ice Rink beginning in December; annual Skate Pittsburgh competition. Members not fulfilling the 6 hours must pay $120.00.
