Welcome to the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club Organized in 1923, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club is one of the oldest clubs in the United States. As one of over 480 member clubs of the United States Figure Skating Association , the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club seeks to encourage participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CLUB INFO/REMINDERS: Thinking about joining the board? Three positions will be opening up July 1st. Consider being a board member. Reminder - 6 hours of volunteer time needs to be completed. Many opportunities are available at the club's Learn-to-Skate program at Schenley. Members not fulfilling the 6 hours must pay $25.00. The club has 4 club ice monitor slots open. 2 hours of volunteer credit are given for each session worked. Please check the sign-up sheet by the club's bulletin board at the rink for dates. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Congratulations to our PFSC skaters who won the TEAM TROPHY at the Rising Stars Competition, Garfield Heights, Ohio, November 12-13, 2011!
February 1, 2012 Test Schedule has been posted on the Tests page - NOTE: THERE WAS A 15 MINUTE TEST SCRATCH IN THE MORNING (10:00 A.M.) SO WE WILL BE RUNNING AHEAD BY 15 MINUTES TO START.
