Founded in 1923, the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club has been promoting and celebrating skating for more than 100 years. As a proud member of U.S. Figure Skating, we are dedicated to fostering a love for figure skating among individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to encourage, teach, and promote the sport of figure skating.
Our home ice is RMU Island Sports Center is located 20 minutes west of downtown Pittsburgh. Part of Robert Morris University, there are two indoor rinks, two outdoor rinks, and a cafe for skaters and families.

Our rich history includes celebrating our 75th anniversary in 1998 and hosting prestigious events such as the 1994 Skate America and the 1983 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. We have also been the site of numerous South Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Competitions and Adult Skating Championships. Beyond competitions, we are passionate about growing the sport at the grassroots level. We sponsor the annual Skate Pittsburgh competition and offer developmental group lessons at Schenley Park.
